John McCains politics:

John McCain (today): “Barack Obama’s campaign took a donation from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and now they’re out of business”

Educated voter: “But, John McCain has received donations in Florida from people who have outright said that they donated nothing, and would donate nothing. In some cases, they were even ineligible to donate. Names were pulled out of a hat so that donations larger than the $2300 could be made to John McCain from one person. This practice is illegal”

——————-

John McCain (July, 2008): “Look, I know the area, I’ve been there, I know wars, I know how to win wars, and I know how to improve our capabilities so that we will capture Osama bin Laden — or put it this way, bring him to justice… We will do it, I know how to do it.”

Me: And you won’t share this with us unless we elect you, I’m guessing.

——————-

John McCain (24 times since January): The fundamentals of our economy are strong.

John McCain (Yesterday): Oh, that’s not what I meant to say 24 times, I meant to say that the American People are some of the hardest workers in the world. That’s what I meant by the fundamentals of our economy. The people. I just misspoke at least 24 times.

——————-

John McCain(30 seconds ago): [Obama's] tax increase is the surest way to bring about a recession and will increase the burden on middle class Americans.

Financial Analysts: Analysts say Obama offers three times the tax break for middle class

——————-

John McCain(30 seconds ago): Obama has voted in the past to raise taxes for someone making just $42,000 a year.

Truth: This is only true if he’s talking about a single person that does not qualify for anything more than the standard exemption… and the annual tax increase would be just over $15. If that same person made $58,000, the increase would be $30. If that person had a child, they would not be “burdened” with that $15 dollar increase until they made $58,600. A family of four would have a $30 tax increase if they made $90,000 or more.

I am sick of seeing lies and mistruths spread all over the airwaves. He can not make a speach or an ad unless it is to support some sort of bull that his campaign has decided to spread. When even Karl Rove calls you a liar.. you have problems

Another one that pisses me off. McCain’s campaign is saying that Obama supports “comprehensive sex education” for kindergartners. Sure, if teaching them how to avoid and report sexual predators is “comprehensive sex education.”
